BIOGRAPHY
MICHEL MEGHERBI
Having grown up in a multicultural family with two ballet-dancing parents, Michel was immersed in the arts from a young age. While initially studying law in Sweden, his interest in filmmaking blossomed through student drama productions and skate/snowboard films. This passion overruled his legal path, leading him to Hollywood to learn from the industry's finest. After graduating from UCLA film school in 2010, Michel built a remarkable career directing commercials for global brands like Discovery Network, Sony PlayStation, TELE2, Epidemic Sound, and Lidl. His love for storytelling extends to documentaries, where he's crafted compelling exhibits for the Nordic and VRAK museums in Stockholm.

Beyond directing, Michel's creative leadership has flourished in the advertising world. For the past 7 years, he has excelled as a creative director at Edisen, Appelberg, and Bondstreet Film. His roles included significant periods leading creative teams, notably as Head of Creative at Appelberg, overseeing all design and film output. Michel even served as the Head of Film at Edisen (formerly Chimney), guiding the agency's overall creative vision.
Michel's talents extend to television, where he's written several shows and successfully executive produced "Jakten på en mördare" and "Hashtag" for SVT Drama.
